It was beautiful weather today! Well, at least for most of the day, it was blue skies and sunny. It's raining a little bit now, though.
After checking out, and making it through a power outage and fire alarm at the hostel, we were able to put our backpacks in a locker for the day, and head out. First stop of the day was Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle cathedrals. Both were gorgeous, but I liked Sainte Chapelle better. It had the most stained glass I have ever seen in one place. The windows depicted the entire Bible from Genesis to the Resurrection, and then the book of Revelation. The Notre Dame was huge, and of course, impressive just from that.

Following our time in the cathedrals, we took the train out to Versailles. That palace is huge, and so ornate! We saw so much mind-blowing artwork, I can't even begin to describe it. Then we spent a few hours walking around the gardens. It was cool, because (1) they were gorgeous, and massive, and (2) there were a bunch of kids rowing crew on the lake, which was neat to see right in front of the palace.
We had the most awesome dinner -- fresh baguette, cheese, nutella, and carrots. So good. Now we're just chilling back at the hostel for a little while, killing time until our bus to Amsterdam leaves in a few hours!
