Kind of a strange day, actually. We slept in, showered, did laundry, basically were super important people for awhile, then finagled the German train system to get to Tessa's mom's house. I really like Tessa's mom. She took us around Hannover, which was lovely in the sunlight (no rain automatically makes all things beautiful, although rain makes things beautiful too!!), and by the time we got back to her house, Tessa was there (she'd had school all day, poor girl!), at which time we ate a lot of food, because it had been at least an hour since we'd eaten anything, which means in German time we're all super hungry :). It was super delicious, though - legit German sauerkraut and stuff. Tessa's friend came over that night and the 4 of us went out into Hannover at night - it was cool to see a lot of the same stuff, and some new parts, in an entirely different environment. I'm slowly getting Bridget addicted to Rooibos tea, which is by no means a bad thing - we went to a coffee shop and the two of us ordered tea. Delicous!!!
Our train was delayed 40 minutes on the way back, but it was nice just to be able to sit in the warm and just...talk for awhile. By the time we got back, we packed up and slept.
