Venice has, like, a tip

A point.
               ^that point!
We spent a lot of time there today. Santa Maria della Salute. Look it up, it's a building that the Republic of Venice promised Santa Maria they would build if she took away the plague in the city in 1630. It was great. Wonderful breakfast - the Italian version of, like, a Twinkie is a croissant filled with chocolate. They're fantastic. Then we wandered around, got hopelessly lost, explored fish markets and homemade glass and canals and boats. Took pictures. Visited a ton of churches. St. Mark's Basilica. Gorgeous. General Venice stuff. Bought our train tickets for tomorrow morning. While sitting on that point and eating dates, Bridget and I talked about all sorts of stuff, which was incredibly fun. Definitely one of my favorite parts of this trip is just talking with that wonderful wonderful sister in Christ.
And the sunset!! The sunset was stunning!! Pink and purple and blue skies and somehow it perfectly complemented the colors of the city. Amazing. Dinner at our bed and breakfast was, like, totally Italian. So proud of us. We made spaghetti!!! All by our big grown-up selves!!

edit on the fish market comment: Bridget made us walk through the market TWICE. Obliviously to my total lack of enjoyment, but still. TWICE.

Reason #45368 Bridget and I are different: When we see a bridge, she finds one side super photogenic and takes pictures of it, and I find the opposite side just as picture-worthy and take pictures of it instead.

STUNNING. The sunset isn't bad either ;)

Master chefs.
